Philanthropy-Ready™
We founded Philanthropy-Ready with a simple, ambitious purpose: to increase charitable giving in Australia by making every wealth advice conversation include philanthropy as standard, not as an occasional afterthought.
We come to this as philanthropy sector practitioners who have seen the gap: wealthy Australians are generous in intent, but are rarely asked in a structured, competent way about their giving. When philanthropy is not in the fact-find, it is not in the plan. That costs the community billions in unrealised giving.
Philanthropy-Ready is not a PAF provider or a charity. We are an independent certification standard.
Our job is to build the rails that make philanthropy a normal part of best-practice wealth advice — with safeguards that protect clients and advisers.
Be one of the first to display the Philanthropy-Ready ribbon, signaling to prospective clients that you are certified practitioners of the new Australian Gold Standard in Advice.
“You can't do that which doesn't occur to you as an option, and that's all we're seeking to do, raise philanthropy as an option.”
- Dustin Perry OAM, Philanthropy-Ready Founder
For Advice Firms
Philanthropy-Ready™ Advice
A standard for financial advice firms to introduce structured giving conversations, build capability, and connect clients to specialist pathways.
The advice layer is the bottleneck.
Every giving campaign tries to make Australians more generous. The data shows Australians are already willing to give — they’re just never asked. The professional advisers who control the $6T wealth transfer moment don’t have the training, incentives, or regulatory clarity to start the conversation.
Minderoo modelling:
$2.4–4.4B in additional annual donations will be unlocked by 2030 if advisers simply start having the conversation.
That’s a near 50% increase on today’s giving from one structural change in advice behavior.

Philanthropy-Ready™ Legal
A standard for wills & estates practitioners to surface charitable intent with respect, precedents that prompt, and clear next steps.
We don’t need another giving campaign. We need to fix the advice layer. Philanthropy-Ready is the accreditation that makes every adviser conversation include giving — like B Corp meets First Aid certification.
A once-in-a-generation opportunity to change how Australia gives — a certification standard that embeds giving conversations into every adviser, accountant and lawyer interaction.
What It Is
Purpose-driven accreditation & training business.
Owns two standards: Advice™ (advisers/accountants) + Legal™ (wills & estates).
Public badge, directory listing, CPD credit, consumer trust mark.
The insight from Minderoo — Unlocking Generosity, Feb 2026
The bottleneck to giving in Australia isn’t generosity — it’s advice. Advisers lack training, have fee disincentives, face regulatory uncertainty. Nobody owns fixing it. That’s the gap Philanthropy-Ready was built to fill.
Many Australian families care deeply about their communities and would value the opportunity to consider philanthropy as part of broader wealth conversations.

Where did this Philanthropy-Ready idea come from, and why/how?
In February 2026 Minderoo Foundation published their Unlocking Generosity report (The Report), in partnership with Edward Alexander Foundation, and authored by Brad Ruting.
Our Founder, Dustin Perry OAM, working as Major Donor Manager at Orygen at the time, as well as somewhat of a double agent to his personal passion of paediatric brain cancer research funding, is always monitoring the current state, trends, and predictions in philanthropy, which is how The Report caught his attention.
The Report points out multiple problems, or challenges, but Dustin saw opportunities, and Philanthropy-Ready is the result of him asking a few trusted and wise friends what they thought of his immediate ideas of how to seize these opportunities, and catalyse a transformative increase in philanthropic giving in Australia.
